As Extravaganza 2013 soon becomes a wonderful decoupage of lasting memories, putting a bow on this unique event would not be possible without a special note of thanks to our truly special Double Up Outfitter John “The Great But Propaneless” Gould shown above landing a Bitterroot cutthroat with yours truly and, later that same day, landing Stormy at Hooters. John has been our Extravaganza outfitter for half a decade now and, without exception, has done everything an outfitter could possible do to enhance a fishing experience and to be of assistance to me as this growingly complex event is presented each year. Over these five years John, single handedly, has timely delivered to our events over 600 boats with competent, friendly, and experienced guides who provide the fabric of each Extravaganza; John and his guides have collectively safely guided us over 5,000 river miles, have landed (and released) fish amounting to almost two times that number, and, without exception, have delivered their fine, impeccable product with unwavering professional humor and élan.
John: Our collective Extravaganza hats (each of which bears your spiffy logo) are taken off in your honor—thanks, pal, for being who you are and being such a key part of the Extravaganza experience; simply stated: You be Da Best!!
Rock Creek Ron
