Announcing the Lineup for E-13's Group One!

As Extravaganza tradition dictates, I am pleased to announce the veteran-studded lineup of this year’s Magnificent Ones, all of whom are currently double checking their Camp List, making sure that all is in order and preparing for their trek to SFO where, tomorrow for the first time ever, all but ONE of the Group will be travelling this way on the SFO-MSO UAL non-stop flight…that should make their pick-up easy for us (provided the flight is on time, that is!).

Longest in the Extravaganza tooth is cpa John “SOS” Reimann (so named for his hapless escapades during one of our three Alaskaganzas) who will be partnered up with his long-time fishing mate ferrous metalist Demetry “The Ghost” Kondrasheff who, though quiet, year after year takes home at least one Yellow Hat—between the two of them a hot boat and one to watch, indeed.  Not to be out done, however, is Brian “Moraine” Shepard’s three boat armada featuring, as is now a One custom, all three of his prodigy:  “Beautiful Eliza”, “Tsar Nicholas” and “Fear The Beard” Josef.  Unfortunately Brian is going to miss this year’s event but has the balance of his six-some will be filled out with returning Mark “Blackfoot” Handron and rookie “Son of Blackfoot” Liam.

Mechanics Bank Chairman Emeritus (he loves that emeritus word, btw!) Eddie “Two License” Downer blessedly will return again this year, this time bring along with him the Bank’s Wealth Management guru Brian “Nostradamus” Pretti; also returning will the double-trouble construction combo of “Dangerous Doug” Pacatte and his brother in law Jimmie “The Hawk” Hagle.  Veteran veteran returnees further include retiree “Minnow Mel” McCormack and the Rosenbaum Three:  CLG attorney/father “Little John” and sons “Big Ben” and “Yellow Hat Adam”—the later combo providing a whirlwind of activity for wheresoever they might terrorize!

And Group One is pleased to welcome four other rookies this year:  the husband/wife combo of Allied HVACer Chris & Mayte Barger, McLeran roofer Tarry Winfree and long time friend of Two License Eddie, Ennis’ own Tom Riggs.

Is that a wild group of twenty (count ‘em!), or what?!?

And the weather gods are favorably looking out for Dem Ones, with forecast highs in the mid-80’s for each of the Ones fishing days with beautifully cool evenings in the 40’s.

Bueno, bueno, bueno, Ones…bring it on, as I will be there to greet you tomorrow morn as you alight into the world of The Extravaganza!!

Best to all on the eve of it all,

Rock Creek Ron
